Recently the City of Olathe approved a contract extension for GBA to proceed with final design of improvements on 127th Street from Black Bob to Pflumm. Improvements will include upgrading the corridor to include two lanes in each direction, tying in to recent improvements from Mur-Len to Black Bob and the existing alignment to the east. The construction schedule is currently slated for utility relocation beginning in 2012 with the majority of construction in 2013-14 based on availability of funding and other conditions.
